2nd Annual Cross Country Meet --- Thursday, October 4, 2007

Dear Cross Country Coach,
     Please accept this invitation to take part in the Hawk Invitational Cross
  Country Meet to be held at Christie Conservation area in Dundas on 
  Thursday, October 4, 2007 beginning at 11:00 a.m. 
     The course is all new, covering grassy terrain, hilly woodland trails and
  gravelled paths. This will offer a great warm up for teams and runners hoping 
  to compete in Niagara Falls this November.
     We sincerely look forward to hosting you at this event. See you in October.

Entry Fees:	
	The entry fee is $7.00 per competitor to a maximum of $200.00 per school.  
	All cheques should be made payable to "Highland Track" .
	Late Entries $14 - no max! School not previously submitted - $50 + $14 per - no  max!!
       
Schedule:
Coaches Meeting10:30 am.

Midget Girls 3.0 km.11:00 am.
Junior Girls  4.0 km.11:20 am
Senior Girls 5.0.km.11:45 pm.
Midget Boys 5.0 km. 12:15 pm.
Junior Boys 6.0 km.12:45 pm.
Senior Boys 7.0 km. 1:20 pm.

Awards Ceremonies 2:15 pm.


Scoring: The placing of the top four runners will determine each team's score. In the event of a tie, it shall be resolved in favour of the team whose fourth runner finished nearer to first place. Entries: Go to entry form at right

Awards:
Individual Awards: 
Prizes will be given to the Top TEN FINISHERS in each race.

Team Awards:
Shirts will be awarded to the First Place Team in each race and ribbons for 2nd - 5th


Note:Foot Tools will have spikes, shoes and running attire at
the meet at fantastic prices.

Christie Lake is located on 1000 Highway #5, right across from 
Flamborough Downs, west of Highway #6 - only minutes away from Hamilton,
Burlington and Cambridge.
